Research Led by Dr. Yan Luo

Ongoing Projects at ACANETS Lab

Overview of Research

The laboratory of Advanced Computing and Networking Systems (ACANETS) was founded by Dr. Yan Luo in 2005. The research at ACANETS spans broadly on advanced computer architectures and network systems that facilitate high speed networking, embedded intelligence and data-intensive science discoveries. The research outcomes from the team include the first open source network processor based OpenFlow switch, deep packet inspection NetFPGA engine, programmable flow classification systems, and so on. The ACANETS Lab has been supported by the National Science Foundation, Intel, Raytheon/BBN, Altera, Xilinx, Netronome and Extreme Networks.
